Bernadette Stevenson is a Worthing-based glass artist that focuses on light, colour, and the sea.
She has worked with traditional leaded, stained & fused glass for 16 years. As a retired chef, Bernie uses kitchen ingredients like foil and bicarbonate soda and views her glasswork like cooking, in that she never knows how it will turn out.

When I take myself down to my workshop & create a piece, it doesn’t feel like work, it feels like my sanctuary & is very therapeutic. It takes the strain out of my life & everybody needs that!!”
