Teresa Grimaldi is an installation artist. She was born on the Isle of Wight in 1966 into a family of ice cream vendors. She has a degree in Theatre Design, then worked as a designer for some time, before specialising in Puppetry at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Later, she gained a MA in Visual Performance at Dartington College of Arts. Nowadays, she combines her installation, puppetry and performance experience into her visual art productions.

Indeed, Teresa splits her time these days between the Isle of Wight (where she grew up) and Worthing (where she works as an atelierista). You can find her on Instagram @teresarosemarygrimaldi. One of her latest projects is Simply Galumphing Around (2020), a collaborative art installation on the Isle of Wight.
